Miami comes alive in December with the bustling of artists, collectors, designers, celebrities and socialites – all of whom gather in honor of Art Basel Miami Beach, one of the largest art events in the world. With countless installations and nearly 30 spinoff fairs, Art Basel has been making a splash since its debut in Miami in 2002. And this year is certainly no different.
I always look forward to this time near my Miami Beach home. Casa de Sueños has hosted its share of Basel events in conjunction with Vogue to honor fashion and design at its best. It’s something that I truly enjoy and feel proud of living in a city where culture is not just alive, but appreciated in such an expansive manner.
