Celebrity Makeup Artist Gyro Talks Motives with Microvision TV
Dominican Republic makeup artist Gyro has a gathering in La Vega, DR to talk about marketing, income, and makeup tips. They are offering the opportunity to women to make an extra income in the cosmetics industry.
Vilma: That’s exactly why we brought this event to this city, La Vega. We are sure that “las veganas” deserve to know the line of cosmetics Motives. We have Gyro, who is one of the most important makeup artists in Dominican Republic, to give the girls tips on makeup and Carmen Arancibia, who is an international businesswoman to give us the details on what’s going on with Motives these days.
Carmen: This is a very ambitious business. Motives is opening the door to many strong women. Beauty moves people to take action. If you really want to become a businesswoman, this is a great opportunity because what you put in at first is much less than what you will get out of it.
Journalist: Where can these girls watching get information on how to get involved?
Carmen: Social media. These days, everyone has access. For example, Gyro has Twitter and Facebook. I also have my own social media where women who are interested can message us and we will reply right away! We’re also creating teams in La Vega and we will continue to travel and inspire women in Puerto Plata, Punta Cana. We’re going to invade the Dominican Republic, so businesswomen can start taking charge!
Journalist: Besides the opportunity to become an entrepreneur, we have someone here that can gives us great tips on how to look more beautiful with Motives. How did you come about with this gathering? How did this alliance happen for you to participate in these activities?
Gyro: Through social media. They contacted me because I have a lot of presence on social media. Motives arrived at my hands at the perfect moment. I was looking for a cosmetics line that can bring together all the necessities of the different skin tones and complexions that exist in the island, from light skin to medium and dark skin. Motives makes sure that all the conditions exists to compete in this market, nationally and internationally.
Journalist: What tips do you have for this spring/summer season for women?
Gyro: For this season, soft colors are a must. They’re going to play an important role in makeup with a natural attitude. I recommend girls to make it as appropriate as possible. Try to be conscious of how much makeup you are applying and what colors you are using. Makeup techniques are so important for a balanced image. More often than not, girls are applying too much blush or lip color that’s too intense with too much shine. We can’t keep making these mistakes. The more natural colors you use, the more beautiful and elegant you will look. Less is more.
I’ve always said that my trick is the love and passion that I dedicate to achieve a final product with each one of my clients. Every time I work on someone, I try to create a masterpiece. I invite everyone watching to get to know this prestigious cosmetic line, Motives, that is the makeup line of celebrity and businesswoman Loren Ridinger, who is a visionary, and LaLa Anthony, best known as basketball player Carmelo Anthony’s wife. We’re opening the doors to women here in Dominican Republic who have an entrepreneurial vision and to makeup artists that want to get to know the line better, we will be more than pleased to explain to you the business plan so you can take an artistic vision as well as an entrepreneurial vision.
