#2. Apply sunscreen. This one is a no-brainer and a must-do every day. Not only is that sun protection essential, you’ll be amazed at the way it helps makeup cling to your skin and last longer.
#3. Find the beauty in primer. Turns out there’s nothing better for helping freshly cleansed and moisturized skin to be completely smooth pre-foundation. Primer will go on smooth and leave your skin even smoother to help create the perfect canvas for next steps.
#4. Go for oil-free foundation or a BB Crème rather than heavy products. Although the light-weight products my look like they have less staying power, in the long run the lighter-weight options are able to stand up against the summer heat.

#5. Use cream based blushes. Same goes for blush when it comes to less is more in the heat of summer – rather than caking on and layering heavy makeup, try cream based blush or cheek tint for a dewy and natural look. It will last longer and give you that perfect summer glow.
#6. Go for waterproof mascara. There’s no better time than the prime heat of summer to make a switch over to waterproof mascara. No one wants black undereye circles – especially in the middle of the day! Go waterproof and watch it stand the test of time….and humidity!
