The American Music Awards were chalk full of gorgeous hair and makeup looks. One look that stood out to me was Keke Palmer’s natural smokey eye. It perfectly matched her 2000s inspired outfit. Check her out below.

“We wanted this look to be modern, glowy, and fresh. Because the outfit showed off so much skin, we wanted to make Keke’s skin glow.”
To give Keke that glowy look, Shannon used Gleam bronzer. To get this look at home, Shannon suggests giving your skin a good scrub before going in with your favorite moisturizer and some bronzer.
Shannon started off Keke’s face with concealer, foundation, and bronzer. Next, she used cream eye shadows as an eye base before going in with a silver metallic eyeshadow. She used her fingers to pat on the silver eyeshadow for a hyper vibrant eye look. Next, she smudged some kohl liner along the lash line for an added smokey effect. Shannon also suggests using some short lashes for this look to let the eyes pop!
Finally, Shannon went in with some nude pink gloss. She wanted a subtle lip to keep the eyes as the main focus.
