The Norwegian hit show, Skam has been making waves for four seasons now. Every season features a different character in a group of teen friends from Oslo. It’s all about empowerment, acceptance, and friendship, which you know I’m all for. Season 2 is about Noora. Noora is known for her vintage fashion sense, moral high ground and empathy, along with her signature lipstick. Season one, Noora wore a lot of bright red lipstick. It helped to bring out her light eyes and super pale skin. As the seasons progress, Noora changes things up a bit, but I’m still partial to that pretty red lip shade.
Amuse, a Vice blog, talked to the show’s costume designer, Susana Alicia Taylor about the makeup and wardrobe of the show, including Noora’s signature bright red lips. According to the blog post “the lipsticks Taylor uses on Noora includes Smashbox Be Legendary in Infrared Matte, Artdeco’s 12.208 Cream Red Muse, Clinique High Impact Lip Color in 12 Red-y To Wear and IsaDora Perfect Matt Lipstick in 05 Femme Fatale.”
