A few months ago, I came across this daily newsletter called
DailyWorth. I admit, I didn’t know much about it when I first subscribe to the
email, but I figured a sight about women’s finances would be my kind of site.
Good thing I did sign up, because every day I hear about
inspiring ways women are making more money, controlling their debt, and
learning to save. The emails come right into my inbox and are no longer than
about 200 words. The topics range from “Free up your earning power” to “Eat out
less with BYOB.”
Here’s a little background from the company’s website:
“In early 2009, Amanda Steinberg founded DailyWorth to build
a trusted platform for women to learn about money management. DailyWorth was
born out of a shocking realization that we women need solid advice – dished up
in their own language – to get on top of our personal finances and work toward
what we like to call “money harmony”.
But beyond the tactical steps to move the needle in your
bank account, DailyWorth seeks to empower women around the topic of finance—to
replace the negative, defeated thoughts with positive, empowering ones—by
providing an open and honest community of women who talk money. DailyWorth has
become the leading website connecting thousands of women nationwide—from all
walks of life—around their money.”
I think the more women subscribe, the more honest we will
become about our worth.
