Photo Miami, the leading contemporary international art fair dedicated to photography, video, and new media in the U.S returns to Miami to celebrate its fifth edition, December 1-5, 2010.
Featuring an international roster of galleries, artist projects, institutions, and publishers from the Americas, Europe, Africa, and Asia, the fair opens with a VIP reception and Gala on November 30.
Organized around the themes of technology, environment, and humanity the artists presented by last year’s participating galleries engaged these areas in a number of innovative and creative ways.
The 2010, entitled the Lyrical and the Profane, provides a survey of exciting photography, video and new media embracing two themes –work that transgresses and transcends and the nexus of art and fashion.
