I came across the 100 Layer Cake Blog about two years ago. Ever since, I’ve been waiting for the quirky wedding blog to come out with a full website. Well, today is the day! They launched 100LayerCake.com
The site was started by three friends who later created the wedding planning resource. They handpick each of the vendors, DIY projects, and weddings they spotlight.
But now with this new site, there are so many more options. There’s a marketplace where you can buy and sell pieces for/from your wedding (what are you going to do with 100 votive candles, anyway!); you can browse vendors; and even post a vendor request (I’m looking for an inexpensive photographer who can help with my vintage-inspired wedding). There’s also a fun DIY section filled with inspiration beyond wedding projects. The online directory is an awesome resource, as well. And of course, they continue to curate the content, so make sure to checkout the A-List section.
Mostly, I just love looking at the photos on the site. The three ladies have done such a great job branding their business and making it
successful. And we all know, I’m a sucker for a successful businesswoman.
