This year marks the 90th anniversary of women’s
right to vote in the U.S. In honor of the strong women before us and among us,
I’ve listed some wise words from them both.
I hope this brings you inspiration:
- “I know God will not give me anything I can’t handle. I just wish that He
didn’t trust me so much.” ~ Mother Theresa - “The greater your capacity to love, the greater your capacity to feel the
pain.” ~ Jennifer Anniston - “As you become more clear about who you really are, you’ll be better able to
decide what is best for you – the first time around.” ~ Oprah Winfrey - “Don’t compromise yourself. You are all you’ve got.” ~ Janis Joplin
- “You gain strength, courage and confidence by every experience in which you
really stop to look fear in the face.” ~ Eleanor Roosevelt - “A bird doesn’t sing because it has an answer, it sings.” ~ Maya Angelou
- “You see a lot of smart guys with dumb women, but you hardly ever see a smart
woman with a dumb guy.” ~ Erica Jong - Many persons have a wrong idea of what constitutes true happiness. It is not
attained through self-gratification but through fidelity to a worthy
purpose. -Helen Keller - I think the key is for women not to set any limits. -Martina Navratilova
- If you want the rainbow, you’ve got to put up with the rain. -Dolly Parton
