Is the year 2011 going to be your year? The answer is: yes,
if you want it to be.
Oprah Winfrey once wrote, “Cheers to a New Year and another
chance for us to get it right.” I love that. It’s true; many times our resolutions
are the same as last year. And for whatever reason we didn’t accomplish the
goal. We have another shot to make it happen. And while many might say a
resolution that was never accomplished translates into failure, I say it
presents an opportunity: an opportunity for greatness.
The year 2011 can be your year if you make the choice to see
every challenge as an opportunity to find another answer. Perhaps the answer is
you’re getting in your own way? Or your intentions are not pure? Or there you
have to be flexible with your goal? Whatever the reason may be for not
succeeding, you must see it as an opportunity to grow and learn.
This will be your year because you have a new mindset.
You’ve decided to remind yourself to keep searching for the appropriate path.
You’ve told yourself you will learn from every situation, even if it seems
tragic. You’ve told yourself you won’t give up.
So, here’s to inspiring and being inspired in 2011. May you
see the light in everything and everyone.
