Life coach and author Gabrielle Bernstein launched this brilliant social networking site, HerFuture.com, in 2008 that connects women looking to mentor or looking to be mentored with like-minded women. I wanted to share this site with you because it’s a beautiful community of women helping each other out. If we can’t count on one another who can we count on?
Start by creating a profile. You’ll fill in questions like “I specialize in/can give advice about…” and “I would like to learn about…” You can also join “posses” that range in interests. Some examples are the “make change stick” posse, “career connection” and “amazing mothers.” Basically interest you have will be there. And if there’s not a posse that shares your interest, you can create one!
Use HerFuture.com as your community of support. Sometimes we can’t find people in our immediate circle that can understand what we’re going through. On HerFuture, you’re sure to find women entrepreneurs, single mommies, post-grads looking for work, and just people looking for inspiration.
