I’m not one to wear hair extensions often and only like to use them for photo shoots. A lot of my friends like to wear the clip-ins hair extensions for a thicker, longer effect especially when they have red carpet events. Although, I’m not a big fan of big “Texas” hair my dear friend and celebrity hairstylist Ken Paves showed me a few ways to wear clip-on extensions to make your hair seamlessly natural without anyone noticing. Ways To Wear Your Hair Extensions To Look Natural
Find Your Matching Color: It’s important to match your clip-ins extensions to your hair color. I recommend you go to the beauty store and match your hair color in person specially if you have colored or lighter hair.
Create a good base and grip: In order for your clip-ins to stay in place you need to give your hair some grip. Part your hair in sections first leaving enough hair on the lower part of your hair to add your extensions. I recommend teasing the area where you are going to apply the clips with dry shampoo or medium hair-spray to give it a long lasting hold.
Use your tools: You want to blend your hair extensions as close as possible to your natural hair. Whether your hair or straight wrap your extension with your natural hair by using a large-barrel curling iron for waves or a flat iron for sleek -straight look.
Style and shake it up: When you’re done styling your hair use a blow dryer in low temperature and shake up you hair. This way your clip in will mix in with your real hair for a seamless perfect natural look.
