During the workday it is important to feel like you have been as productive as possible. The pressure in our society to work nonstop is very intense – not leaving much room for things like napping during the day. When we work all day long, taking no real break and staring at a computer, it’s easy to become totally exhausted. Most people have a need for some downtime, making the importance of napping for productivity pretty clear.

Many years ago, taking a midday nap was completely normal. No matter what their occupation, people would come home at noon, eat lunch and take a short nap. It’s completely rejuvenating! When you sleep, you are completely relaxed. Forgetting your stresses and worries of the day will allow your body to be energized and revitalized. The importance of napping for productivity has been proven through time. When you can, give yourself the chance to take a quick snooze in the middle of the day – your mind and body will feel relaxed and restored.
