We all want to look amazing in the massive number of holiday photos that will be taken over the next few weeks a doing a skin detox diet is the perfect way to glow from the inside out. Doing a beauty and skin detox can cause your skin to get worse in the short term but after a few days, you will be able to see and feel the benefits of clear skin, better digestion and more energy. Beauty Tips: Doing A Skin Detox Diet
- Your skin is your largest organ and reflects what is happening on the inside of your body. Try eliminating gluten or dairy or both and see if acne diminishes.
- Focus on fruits and vegetables either raw or in juice form.
- Cut out all alcohol and smoking.
- Let your skin breathe and skip the makeup if you can.
- Book a facial at a spa or make one of my DIY face mask recipes.
- Exfoliate to remove the dead skin cells and buildup from your detox to reveal a brighter skin tone.
- Drink dandelion tea to eliminate puffiness and water retention.
- Exercise! Sweating out the toxins will help things move along faster.
This skin detox diet isn’t meant for long term but simply try and incorporate as many of these ideas as you can whenever you feel your skin getting clogged or looking dull and it should do the trick.
