How to Look Good & Feel Good in 2013

  1. Stick to a skincare routine designed for your skin type. Choose everything from cleansing to serums to SPF and be diligent about it.
  2. Weekly manicure and pedicures!
  3. Monthly facials are a must. If you can splurge, go ahead and book a standing appointment at your favorite salon. If not, try a new DIY facial mask every couple of weeks.
  4. Get your eyebrows professionally shaped. If you have beautiful brows, you immediately look impeccably groomed and fresh.
  5. Take care of your hair. Regular trims and conditioning treatments will keep your strands smooth and shiny.
  6. Just look in the mirror before you leave the house. If you have a pimple, cover it with concealer. If your lips are chapped, apply some balm. No need to apply a full face of makeup but taking 5 minutes to look presentable will boost your confidence and make you feel fabulous, even while running errands.
  7. And if you don’t have those 5 minutes, invest in a stylish pair of sunglasses!
  8. Beauty sleep is not a myth! The proper amount of rest helps with everything from bloating to dark circles to mental health.
  9. Find a form of exercise you enjoy and dedicate yourself 5 days a week.
  10. Loungewear doesn’t have to mean ratty sweats! You’ll feel better in casual clothing that matches and isn’t something you’d wear to bed.
