Superbowl Sunday is a lot like Fat Tuesday or Thanksgiving – most people view it as an excuse to go crazy on the beer, chips and dessert! But you may have made that New Year’s Resolution to eat healthy snacks (or just started an exercise program to get in shape for spring break) and don’t want to blow it. And that’s okay!
If you can’t control what the actual food is where you are watching the big game, then practice portion control on this particular afternoon so that you don’t feel left out or deprived. Other options to still join in on the fun are hosting the Superbowl party yourself or bringing an appetizer you know is healthy. Here are several tried and true healthy but still delicious snack recipes you can make for Superbowl Sunday!
