The past month have been a whirlwind of runways but the fantastic half moon manicure spotted at Anthony Vaccarello (whom Jennifer Lopez recently wore to the Grammys!) really caught my attention. Paris Fashion Week just kicked off yesterday, so while there is much more fall 2013 beauty to come, this nail polish style has been popular for quite a few seasons and I think it’s safe to say it’s here to stay!
To complement the sexy, chain-mail look of his pieces, which Vaccarello said was inspired by “the idea of something that brings a masculinity to something that’s so soft,” Estée Lauder creative makeup director Tom Pecheux used a combination of the line’s Pure Color Nail Lacquer in Bitter Sweet and Fallen Angel with not-yet-released Smoked Chrome.
