4 Investments Every Aspiring Entrepreneur Should Make

1.      1. Website: A nice, clean and easy-to-navigate website is a must for any aspiring boss! It serves as a “go to” place for your clients, future clients and colleagues to learn more about you and your business. As a beginner, you don’t have to kick out tons of money to hire a web designer to build your site; there are hundreds of sites that allow you to set up free websites such as Wix.com!

2.      2. Headshots: Professional photos give the illusion that you are indeed a professional in your industry. When potential business partners, colleagues and clients see these photos, you have a better chance of them wanting to work with you. As with your website, you don’t have to spend a lot. Although I do recommend investing money in headshots, you can network and find a photographer in your area that is willing to test shoot in exchange for photos for their portfolio.

3.      3. Books: You can never learn too much! It’s vital that every aspiring entrepreneur gets in the habit of reading material that will help you to build your brand. Visit sites for affordable books that target areas such as: branding, marketing, public relations, and specific book topics that cater to your industry. Loren’s World is also a great reading source when looking for tips to help build your business! Remember, knowledge is power!

4.      4.  A supportive circle: The phrase, “It’s a lonely road to the top,” is one that I live and have heard so many times! While this phrase holds lots of truth, it is very important that you keep a strong support system when following your entrepreneurial goals. Build and nurture relationships with others with like minds and similar goals and interests because it is through these bonds that you will grow as an individual but also as a business person.

What are some things that you have invested in as an entrepreneur?
