Congratulations to Gwyneth Paltrow, who has been officially named People Magazine’s Most Beautiful Woman! The Iron Man actress claims the #1 spot in 2013 after her best friend Beyonce won the title last year. After landing the cover, she “thought someone was playing a joke on me and I had to reread the email three times. It’s amazing,” she revealed during an interview at her photo shoot.

On when she feels most beautiful: “When I accept where I am in time and space and I’m not judging myself in any way. Peace comes with loving yourself and all of your flaws… beauty really does emanate from within.”
On her “mom” look: “Around the house, I’m in jeans and a T-shirt. I don’t really wear makeup. That’s what they’re used to. He’ll [husband Chris Martin] make a joke about it. If I’ve gotten fully dressed up, he’ll be like, ‘Oh, wow! You’re Gwyneth Paltrow!’ Because he’s used to seeing me in like baggy shorts and frizzy hair.”
On her workout: “It makes me look younger and feel strong. When I first started, I thought, ‘I’ll never be good at this. This is a nightmare!’ But now it’s like brushing my teeth, I just do it.” [she does the Tracy Anderson method 5 times per week]
