  2. Understand the full scope of the new career. In a nutshell, don’t make a change without gathering all the facts – ease your own anxiety by knowing exactly what to expect.
  3. Set small goals. Whatever it takes to launch a new career – break down the big picture into smaller attainable goals.
  4. Face your fears about the new career. It’s ok to be a little scared – something new can be intimidating! But how will you know if you don’t try?
  5. Network! Making a major career change means it’s time to get out there and build relationships and find that new opportunity.
