I have to admit, I am pretty excited about the upcoming two-night Bonnie & Clyde movie event! A+E Networks, History, A&E and Lifetime have united to simulcast a remake of the classic Bonnie & Clyde film. Starring Emile Hirsh and Holliday Grainger, the cast also includes some pretty big names like Holly Hunter and William Hurt.
According to Lifetime, the Bonnie & Clyde T.V. event “retells the fascinating tale of the legendary couple whose crime spree enraptured the American public.” Always one step ahead of the law, the pair repeatedly escaped capture, eventually making them some of history’s most famous criminals. In this special T.V. presentation, the iconic 1976 Bonnie & Clyde film has been remade for the small screen and the modern era. The original film features Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway – do you think these are big shoes to fill? The show premieres tonight, December 8th at 9pm EST. Will you be watching?
