It’s true. Procrastination happens to all of us. Whether it’s work related, projects at home, or even just getting out the door to the gym – it’s a common struggle we all face. From making lists to diminishing distractions, figuring out how to stop procrastinating is the key factor in getting back on track. - Get through the most mundane tasks first. Just get them done.
- Change your environment. Try working in a coffee shop or somewhere that provides some inspiration.
- Break each job down into smaller, doable tasks.
- Make yourself accountable to friends, family or coworkers.
- Turn off the sound on your phone and computer – to stop the constant interruptions.
- Set a timer for ten minute blocks and in between, give yourself a five minute break.
- Start your whole to-do process over in the afternoon.
- Stop overcomplicating and just do it.
