Are you having a bad day? Do you feel down, hate the world, you feel ugly and unappreciated? It’s ok you’re not the only one. So many of us have those days in where you just want to lay on the couch, close the blinds and watch really depressing movies. Maybe we feel overwhelmed of simply feel bad because we are not reaching our goals. There are many reasons to feel down, probably you have high expectations of yourself and you haven’t accomplished any yet. We all have those days, we know something has to be done about this attitude, but we continue to drag ourselves down. Here are a few tips on how to feel better about yourself.
Acknowledge your efforts. I’t not alway about who’s better and what your friends have achieve. Is about you and everything you have accomplished, it is the efforts that counts. Most women set goals in their life, graduate college, married by 30, millionaire by 35. There will be bumps in the road and things don’t always work out as planned. There is no reason to get yourself all worked up. Write a list of all the things you have accomplished and that have contributed to your growth. Acknowledge that you’ve done your best, even if you failed to produce tangible results.
Nurture your dreams. Why deny yourself of accomplishing your dreams? Why live someone else’s dreams when you can live your own. When you nurture your dreams, you would love the life that you are leading. Every moment that you live is a joy because you are expressing yourself fully.
Have fun enjoy life! What is the point of being uber successful and/or a millionaire if you don’t enjoy it? Life is meant to be fun, spontaneous, magical don’t drag yourself down. Embrace that you are alive and healthy. Don’t take life too seriously. If you can think of life in this manner, you automatically relax and quit worrying over things that do not matter.
Believe in Yourself. I always say, “in order for you to accomplish your dreams belief is all you need.” Most people think I’m crazy when I come up with a new idea, but I don’t! I believe in myself and in my decisions I know that if I put my mind to it I will make it happen. To fully experience what it means to live you must have a confidence in all you do, even during the times in which you come up short.
Eat Healthy and Exercise. You should have exercise on top of your priority list. Who wants to be a slouch? Part of loving yourself is allowing your body to be in its top form. An occasional indulgence in alcohol or some fast food isn’t the end of the in the wold but making a habit of destroying your body is. Many don’t realize, but your relationship to your physical body and mind is very important.
