Fashion For A Cause With Designer Autumn Hawk

Although, I love my designer duds, I also love to support emerging fashion designers. While exploring new shopping sites online. I came across Autumn Hawk’s line of fun, playful and chic colorful dresses. Her collection inspired by “all things feminine” is a combination of the powerful fashion professional and the downtown playful modern girl. I had the opportunity of meeting Autumn a few weeks ago, coincidentally we were both having lunch at Cipriani’s Soho. With a warm and loving personality Autumn came over to our table and introduced herself not knowingly that I was already a fan of her designs. Autumn who is even more beautiful in person shared very special insight on her line and the inspirations behind it.

Autumn, told me that during the site’s first week of being launched boutique owners called her immediately to carry the line. Now a year later Autumn has celebrity clients such as Tamara Mowery, Audrina Padridge and some of the cast members of Bravo’s “Real Housewives.” I was even more amazed to know that Autumn is a major supporter to AIDS/HIV foundations. A small but major detail embedded in each of her designs is the red zipper in all of her signature dresses which symbolize HIV/AIDS awareness. For every dress sold Hawk contributes 5% of each to these organizations. How amazing!

Hawk is a flourishing entrepreneur who is proving to all of us that fashion is not just about looking good but empowering others to do better. Hawk states “my mission is not to become a household name but rather a fashionista favorite, that just sounds more fun.” I’m definitely buying a few of Haw’s pieces not only are they gorge, but also making a difference in our communities.
