Healthy Foods To Eat This Summer

Fun in the sun, usually means quick bites or planned picnic.  The variety of summer eats and treats is never-ending.  This is why I love the summer so much.  It gives us the excuse to try new bites, live a little and enjoy ourselves.  Sometimes we need to kick back, let the wind blow through our hair, and enjoy a great meal.

Here is a list of great foods we shouldn’t miss this summer:

– Anything grilled or steamed such as fish and vegetables: This is perfect for anytime of the day and so much healthier than fried food.

– Frozen yogurt with fresh fruits.

– If you need a snack try mango, watermelon, strawberries, carrots or celery sticks.

– Sushi is always light and fresh in the summer. One of my favorite sushi places in New York City is Pink Ribbon.

– Nothing beats a good salad in the summer.

– Iced green tea if you want to sweetened your drink toss frozen berries.
