No matter the season, our feet can take a beating just from running daily errands, even if we’re wearing our most comfortable pair of shoes. If you’re in need of a little pampering, here are four easy, relaxing, and refreshing foot scrub recipes you can make with items you likely already have around the house (and if you don’t, they’re really easy to get). If you can set aside 10 – 15 minutes at the end of your day to treat yourself to one of these mixtures, your feet will thank you.

How to Make It:
- Measure salt and lavender buds into a clean bowl.

- Add essential oil and stir well.
- Scoop into a clear jar and label.
3) Strawberry Foot Scrub – This strawberry salt foot scrub featured on Petit Elefant looks like it has all the makings of a refreshing beauty treatment (and makes me secretly crave a margarita!).
Ingredients: 2 teaspoons of coarse salt, 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil, 8 fresh strawberries
How to Make It:
1. Pour the coarse salt in mixing bowl. Add the olive oil + stir.
2. On a cutting board use a knife to remove the green tops from the strawberries and slice into a few pieces.
3. Once the strawberries are sliced add them to the salt and olive oil mixture and mix and mash the whole thing together until you have a chunky scrub.
4. Spread the mixture onto your feet and scrub all over. Use some of the strawberry scrub on your calves up to your knees and rub it in, exfoliate until you feel smoother.
5. Rinse your feet/legs/arms with lukewarm water, pat dry with a towel, and coat your feet with lotion.
