You may find yourself or have found yourself picking up the remnants after a disastrous situation. It is not uncommon for your thoughts to overflow with negativity as you ask yourself, “what the heck just happened?” Anyone who has had their emotional and mental foundation shaken, understands that there are some circumstances that are harder to bounce back from than others. So the question then becomes, how do I continue to think positive when my heart, my mind, and my spirit feels like it is crushed beyond repair? Even yet, your desire, your will to think better may be out of your reach.
Realize that it is okay to feel to disappointed.
The problem arrives when we refuse to not look past our current condition. We all know that life can change in an instant, good or bad. The blessing that is given to us, is time. Recall an unpleasant situation that you may have experienced last year. You may have felt that there was no way that you could overcome that level of hardship or tragedy. Your days were filled with sadness and numbness. Now, evaluate where you are now. Yes, you overcame what you thought had you bound and broken. My point is that as you have overcome huge obstacles in your life, you will overcome this. It will not destroy. It will not break you. It will not get the best of you.
You can stay positive by understanding that your best days are ahead of you. Time will move you along. Just as the sun makes its appearance after a rainstorm, so it will appear again your life. Stay positive in knowing that you are a powerful being.
