It is very frustrating when you have spent a number of dedicated hours on a project yet when it is complete you have missed a few elements or have found that your projected numbers are off. Many of us have been there. We try to deal with the key details in front us but lack researching those annoying plan B, C, and D back up detail plans. It can be very annoying and time consuming to comb through your research, however in the long run it will save you precious time and assist in the accuracy of the end result.
We have heard the wise statement that shortcuts do nothing but bring you back to the end of the line. It’s true. When we do not have the full picture in front of us, our view becomes limited. We work only with what we see, only producing with the elements that we have. Good execution can only take place when you have surveyed the entire scope. Do not cause the work of research to intimidate you or the procrastination of putting it off will cause you to be behind the eight ball. Believe me, research is a huge part of obtaining the most productive outcome. Get to work!
