When looking for a college, decide if you want to attend a large university or a private college. The difference can be in a professor knowing your name or only identifying you by your social security number. You also decide your location. Are you a small town girl looking for the experience of a big city or perhaps you have lived in the city all of your life and desire change from concrete to green pastures. Your environment will play a key role in how you adapt to college life. You will also want to choose a school that offers the best program for your major. Take a tour of the city or town that the school is located to acclimate yourself. You have a big decision to make. Follow your heart and enjoy the process.
