Christina Aguilera recently sported a very rock n roll inspired outfit and spider lashes at the Maroon 5 video shoot in Los Angeles. “The Voice” judge wore a sexy kimono top, black leggings and a wide-brim hat. The duo rocked out in front of an American-flag back drop. Christina’s makeup-artist gave the ex-Disney star a dramatic eye-popping look by adding false lashes and lots of mascara to bring out her already blue piercing eyes. As I mentioned before, spider lashes are going to be one of the biggest beauty trends for Fall.

Here are some product suggestions that will help you achieve the spider clunky lash and a “how-to” tutorial:
Step 1: Get an eyelash curler and a volumizing mascara. Clamp and hold your lashes near the roots with the curler for two seconds, then move it a little closer to the tips and clamp it down for two more seconds. Be careful not to squeeze too hard — you don’t want to pull out any lashes!
Step 2: Brush on the mascara from root to tip, starting from the outer corner and working toward the inner corner. Use slow strokes and wiggle the brush back and forth a little to deposit a lot of mascara. Do both eyes, then go over just the tips with the wand again to add length.
