1. Facial Scrub – For a gentle facial scrub, make a paste of 3 parts baking soda and 2 part water. Rub in a circular motion, then rinse with warm water. Be careful to avoid the delicate eye area when exfoliating.

2. Body Exfoliant – Use the same mixture as above to gently exfoliate your entire body. Rinse with warm water, then pat dry and follow with your favorite moisturizer.

3. Pre-Shave & After-Shave – For sensitive skin, mix one tablespoon of baking soda in one cup of water and apply to the area you will be shaving as a treatment to protect against irritation. Use the same solution after shaving to soothe any bumps or razor burn.

4. Cleansing Manicure – Make a paste of 3 parts baking soda to one part water for a cleansing treatment you can use during your manicure. Use a nail brush to scrub the solution under nails. Rub your hands in the solution to gently exfoliate dry skin. Rinse with warm water and pat dry before continuing with your favorite moisturizer.

5. Exfoliating Pedicure – After soaking your feet for 10-15 minutes in warm water (depending on individual need), blend 3 parts baking soda with 1 part water to exfoliate and scrub tired feet. Wrap your feet in a warm towel and let sit for 5-10 minutes. Rinse with warm water, pat dry and apply moisturizer for smooth, pampered feet.

6. Natural Deodorant – Dust baking soda powder under arms in place of conventional deodorant for a natural solution that neutralizes acids.

7. Soothing Bath Soak – Treat yourself to a relaxing bath soak at the end of a long day. Add 1/2 cup of baking soda powder to a warm bath to neutralize any acids, remove excess oils, and soothe any irritations on the skin.

8. Dry Shampoo & Root Lifter – If you don’t have any dry shampoo on hand, use baking soda powder to absorb excess oils on the scalp and the root of your hair. You can also use it as a root lifter before blow drying or styling for a more voluminous look.
