Congrats to my friend Eva Longoria! NBC has announced that Eva will be starring in their upcoming comedy series Telenovela as Ana Maria, a soap opera diva who is also the star of the show’s telenovela where all the action happens. The series will revolve around all of the “hysteria and high jinks that everyone must endure when putting together a daily show,” said NBC. It sounds like an absolute blast and I can’t wait to see how it all comes together!
NBC President Jennifer Salke said “there are few actresses with as much international appeal as Longoria.” Eva currently has a Golden Globe nomination, People’s Choice Award, and several Alma Awards under her belt. She’s absolutely the right person for this role and I know she will absolutely rock the acting and producing roles!
