Setting Your Goals For Back To School

Setting your goals for back to school is critical. In just a few weeks’ classrooms, lecture halls, and college campuses will be filled with eager minds.  Going back to school can cause a little anxiety.  There is no need to fear or be anxious.  Going to school is an investment in yourself, look at your education as a business contract.  You will only get out of it, what you put into it.  Be proactive and set goals for the first half of the school year.  Be realistic yet challenge yourself.  Here are a few suggestions to get you started and goals for back to school:

1.Determine to be punctual.

2. Make up your mind to not procrastinate.

3. You will study, study, and study some more.  Study not to memorize but to retain the information.

4. Agree that if you have difficulty early on, that you will seek help from a tutor or a student in your class who gets it more than you.

5. Determine that you will do well and that as long as you give your best, failure will not be an option.

6. Think, be, and become positive.
