Anna Wintour Talks Vogue, Intimidation and Her Stamp Of Approval

Anna Wintour, Vogue’s editor-in-chief is more than just the editor, she is also the most influential woman in fashion and one of Forbes most powerful women in the world.  Most think Anna is intimidating, demanding, and she can make or break your fashion collection.  But, how much truth is there to this myth?  Forbes.com interviews Anna and talks about her days at Vogue, what she looks for in new designers, and Vogue’s famous covers.

On people’s perception that she is intimidating?  “Just something fabricated by certain elements and the media,” says Anna.

Her stamp of approval for new designers and what she looks for:  “Talent, head on their shoulders, sense of business and creativity.”

What do you look for when deciding a new cover for Vogue?  “It has to reflect on what’s happening in the world today.”
