This morning, Academy Award-winning actress Helen Mirren joined mountain climber Melissa Arnot, and digital leaders Rachel Sklar and Shelley Zalis for The Wrap’s first Power Women Breakfast in NYC hosted by The Wrap’s CEO and Editor-in-Chief Sharon Waxman; film and theater producer Paula Wagner; A+E Networks President and CEO Nancy Dubuc; SVP of Industry Alliances of Box and Founder of Box.org Karen Appleton; CEO of CreativeFuture Ruth Vitale; and SVP of Game Programming for SGN Jill Wilson. That’s quite an impressive list of powerful women! The breakfast aimed to bring together influential women leaders in the media, entertainment, technology, and branding industries to connect and network, while featuring inspiring speakers to talk about issues that affect women influencers.
I’m proud to be able to say that Motives Cosmetics and SHOP.COM were a part of that event today by providing 100 goodie bags for the attendees at the breakfast, which took place at the Time Warner Center. Today, more than ever, I believe it’s critical for women to come together, host discussions, and really support and inspire one another in order to achieve greatness and make strides for women. We are more than capable of achieving our dreams and becoming powerful and influential. There’s no better time than now and no one better than we as a community of influential women. Let’s stand by each other!
