The health of your brain is just important as the health of the rest of your body. They say you are what you eat, and when you eat sugary foods, you can feel it all over but especially in your head. This is why it’s important to feed your brain the right stuff to keep it clear of cobwebs and strong for the years ahead. Oily Fish– Oily fish like salmon, mackerel, and trout have been proven to give you ultimate brainpower. These fishes help with long and short-term memory and help prevent Alzheimer’s disease.

Blueberries- Blueberries are super rich in antioxidants in order to help memory and concentration. They have the power to clear away toxins in the brain in order to keep the mind in working order for many years.

Strawberries- Strawberries contain polyphenolics and flavinoids, which are two compounds that have been proven to clear the brain. They clear toxins and improve the health of your head. 

Sage- Sage doesn’t just purify the outside of the body and kill bad vibes (any sage burners out there?), it also contains lots of antioxidants found in Alzheimer’s medicines to help purify the mind. It can also help with problem-solving speed and concentration as well.

Broccoli- Broccoli is high in Vitamin K, which has been proven to slow age-related dementia. Broccoli can also help heal brain related injuries after a trauma or illness.

Caffeine- Caffeine, although addictive, can help boost your brain’s focus and concentration during the day. Coffee contains antioxidants that help prevent brain health so try to drink on black coffee a day to help keep your mind buzzing for hours.
