The weekend is finally here! Most of us anxiously wait till Friday to take a little break from work, spend time with friends, and hit a few parties here and there. To me the weekends are all about recharging your batteries and reflecting on your week’s accomplishments. Weekends are not just meant to party, but they are made to catch up on ourselves, get some rest and spend doing things we love doing but are too busy to do.

Here are 5 things I recommend you do this weekend!
1. Get a facial or a spa treatment. Whether it’s a facial or simply getting your nails done, giving your self some love is always good. Your body needs to rest and so does your mind. Even if you only have 30 minutes to spare it will be well worth it!
2. Try a new restaurant. Have you been dying to try a new restaurant, but always too busy? Go ahead make a reservation and go for it and if you have to wait for a seat so be it! I’m sure it will be well worth it.
3. Try a yoga class. Not only will you feel good about yourself after doing yoga, but you will feel refreshed and ready to conquer the world. Yoga is one of the best de-stress workouts you will get.
4. Go to another city. Whenever I want to get away but not fly my family and I take a trip to another city. If we are in Miami we’ll go to Palm Beach or Key West; if we’re in New York City we’ll go to the Hamptons.
5. Play a game. There’s nothing more relaxing for me than taking an hour off and playing a game with my daughter!
