Beauty Tips To Help You Look More Awake

Didn’t get a good night’s sleep? Or maybe you drank one too many drinks the night before? We’ve all been there. Sometimes sleep just goes over us and it seems impossible to get those eight hours in. When we wake up, we tend to look worse for wear. Our skin looks dull and our eyes puffy and red. How do we deal after a sleepless night? Well a couple of beauty products and some know-how can help. Exfoliate And Cool Down- First, exfoliate your skin. You want to help do to your skin what a good eight hours of sleep would do. It’s time to try to repair your skin in order to get rid of that dullness. Try using Nars Double Refining Exfoliator. Next, try taking a cool shower. Sounds terrifying, but it stimulates the cells and helps to tone up that tired look in your eyes.

Moisturize- Moisturize your skin super well. Lack of sleep can lead to dehydration so drink lots of water and pick up your favorite body moisturizer. Next, get your face moisturizer and apply it in small circular motions to liven up the face cells a little bit. If you don’t have a good face moisturizer, pick up Vitashield Vitamin C &E Intensive Moisturizer. It’ll help to liven up the skin.

Foundation- When it comes to foundation less is more. Go for a creamier formula to add some lively dewiness to the skin. Be sure to dot a bit on the skin and use a brush to blend it out. See how light a dewy your skin will look. My recommendation would be Motives for La La Liquid Foundation. It’ll give you that creamy after-glow.

Eyes- Next, be sure to brighten up the under eye with concealer. My favorite concealer for brightening is the Motives Long-Wear Liquid Concealer. It covers up my problem areas and brightens at the same time. Be sure to curl your lashes for an open-eye effect. Use your brightest highlighter in the inner corners of your eye. If your eyes are puffy, go under the bottom lash line with a little bit of light brown matte shadow in order to off-set the puffiness.
