One of my favorite things about the Motives online community is the amazing amount of talent we have within it. There’s no shortage of gorgeous makeup looks on display – and a whole lot of fantastic tutorials to go with them.
No matter what your style: glam or natural, everyone loves finding some sweet new looks and instructions for getting ‘em done. If Motives is your fave and you’re on the hunt for some new idea inspiration – here’s a Motives Makeup Roundup with some great quickie tutorials.
Gorgeous Blues via @makeupbymia:
1) I began by priming my eye with “Dark” concealer to give my shadows something to adhere to. I then highlighted my brow bone with “Creme Fresh” Shadow and then blending it out using “Theia” shadow on a#morphebrushes blending brush. I then used that same brush and applied “Venus” from the Dynasty Palette into my crease and blended it out into “Theia”
2) Taking tapered blending brush from#MakeupAddictionCosmetics I applied “Nefertiti” to the outer v, creating a cat eye shape. I then cleaned it up with concealer.
3) With a flat brush I applied “Celestial” eye illusion shadow to my mobile lid and blended it out into the crease.
4) To create the smokey liner I took a shader brush from #ZoevaCosmeticsand buffed “Medusa” back and forth against my lash line.
5) I repeated the same thing along my lower lash line using “Medusa” & also incorporated “Celestial”. I then added “Teresa” glitter from #ShopVioletVossbefore adding #sigmabeauty‘s “Sinuosity” Mascara & then I finished the look with a pair of custom lashes from#velourlashesofficial.
