It’s sometimes all too easy to reach the end of each week and wonder where your paycheck’s gone. We spend so much money on small useless things, plus it’s all too easy to simply swipe a card or hit the checkout button while online shopping. We tend to lose track. Wondering where your paycheck is going? Learn about what’s busting your budget below. Try to get rid of these spending habits in order to spend money on what you truly need. Check them out below and let me know what you think in the comments section.
Lunch, Brunch and Everything In-Between- How often do you eat out? I know I spend lots of money on snacks and food at airports when I should be saving. It’s all about being conscious about where you’re spending your money. Why not make a grand slam breakfast of your own rather than go out and pick something up. It’ll save you in the long run.
Online Shopping- Listen, I’m not saying that you nix online shopping altogether. When you need something important, turn to the internet, but when you’re listlessly staring at your computer screen, stop yourself. Maybe you don’t need that Amazon rated gadget. Move your hand away from the computer mouse and consider your budget.
Subscriptions- Spotify, Hulu and Amazon Prime, along with Netflix and a couple of magazine subscriptions? You may be overspending on things you don’t really need. Consider what’s important to you and choose one or two subscriptions to keep around. Maybe you love commercial-free music? Or maybe you just can’t live without your magazine subscriptions? Pick and choose, ladies.
Frivolous Drinks- If you’ve been spending on that afternoon coffee despite the fact that you’re already buzzing from that morning cup, it’s time to reconsider. Going to grab drinks every week might be overkill. Change your habits and watch your savings increase.
