It seems times have changed a little bit – we definitely don’t hear about Oprah in the news quite as frequently as we used to. But, just because she isn’t a mainstay on daytime T.V. anymore, doesn’t mean she isn’t out there getting things done. Oprah is a doer (we all know that!) and despite stepping down from daily T.V. programming a couple of years back (according to CNN), she’s staying very busy.
“The media queen has produced and acted in movies, given commencement speeches, launched products, appeared on talk shows and been awarded the nation’s highest civilian honor, among other things.” And, one thing she hasn’t given up: her annual announcement of Oprah’s Favorite Things.
