Monday Mantras: Wise Words to Keep You Motivated

As JR and I are always saying, what you think you become. We tell this to people over and over because we have experienced this and know that it is true. When we were starting our business, we knew we had to be in the right mindset for things to develop as we wanted them to. And when we work on other projects and focus on expanding our business, we get our head in the game. The same is true for the friends and family we keep: negative thoughts have no place in our world. If there’s one thing we know for sure, it’s the power of a thought. So if you’re going to move forward, progress in any way, and achieve any kind of growth or success, trust me when I tell you that your head absolutely has to be in the game. This is why mantras are so incredibly powerful. And why starting and ending your day with them can be such a game changer. Read on for some more info on mantras along with a list of some of my favorites. I hope they resonate with you as they have with me. The most important thing is to stay focused.

 

ABOUT MANTRAS & HOW TO USE THEM

What is a mantra? As Deepak Chopra often says, a mantra is an instrument of thought that ultimately takes us beyond thought. By definition, it is  a word or sound repeated to aid concentration in meditation. By repeating this mantra, it puts you in the right mindset to conceptualize the things you want and hope to accomplish.

How to use it: When repeated in meditation, a mantra helps you focus and avoids you getting lost in thoughts that don’t pertain to your goals. Clear your mind, focus on your mantra, repeat it while taking a few deep breaths, and focus.

Meditation for Beginners: There’s not much to meditation other than allowing yourself to be comfortable and focusing on the things you want to understand and/or accomplish.
