“Making a list, checking it twice,” need not only apply to a children’s Christmas song! Women these days are juggling multiple schedules: their own, their family’s, their boss’, their employee’s, and planning each of them out by day or week will do wonders for your peace of mind. Not only do I keep a calendar on my BlackBerry I also write down everything in a planner because physically crossing off completed tasks on a to-do list feels oh so good. A small but satisfying reward for any accomplishment, like getting to the grocery store or submitting my new Huffington Post article on time. You can separate your lists for personal and business if one giant list feels overwhelming; simply writing things down can help improve your chances of remembering that meeting and might ease your anxiety about forgetting the after-school carpool. As women we are more than capable of doing it all and to-do lists are just one more trick in our superwoman arsenal. Are you a fan of list making?
