Getting weird in Fiji a couple weeks ago. I often get asked why I ride a soft-top surfboard. The only reason is that when I try to pig dog backside, my carbon fiber prosthetic cracks the fiberglass of a conventional surfboard. I love all types of boards, it’s just really what the waves are doing and what will work best with the prosthetic. Always learning, always having a blast in the process. Your body can do anything. It’s the mind you have to convince.
