Tom Hanks made a great cameo appearance recently. I love when a sweet and simple story pops up that just makes your heart warm. Lately, we’ve been exposed to so much unnecessary and unfounded violence, that a cute story is just what we need. When I was scrolling the news headlines this morning, I stumbled on this: “Tom Hanks Crashes a Wedding in Central Park — See the Sweet Pic!” (via Entertainment Tonight) and of course I was curious.
As it turns out, Tom Hanks was recently jogging through central park and, according to the story, “The Sully star happened upon a pair of happy newlyweds while jogging in NYC’s Central Park over the weekend, and they invited him to take part in their wedding photos!” Hanks happily obliged – and the photos are just great, all smiles! And, here’s what the photographer had to say: “Yesterday’s wedding was so beautiful! Elisabeth and Ryan you planned one amazing celebration. The icing on the cake was @tomhanks stopping in Central Park to wish them congratulations.”
It really doesn’t get any better than that – and a sweet and uplifting story is exactly what we need more of these days, don’t you agree?
