#1. Vanilla Cranberry Lip Scrub:

INGREDIENTS:

-Extra virgin coconut oil

-Brown sugar

-Vanilla Extract

-Chopped dried cranberries

DIRECTIONS: Measure your exfoliant so that the container half full. Measure the coconut oil–you want a 1:1 ratio of oil to sugar. Transfer oil and sugar to a mixing bowl, add cranberries followed by the vanilla extract. Add each “to taste.” Mix gently to combine then add scrub to an air-tight storage container and refrigerate for up to two weeks. Remove from fridge at least five minutes before use so that the mixture can soften.

Winter is notorious for cracked lips. This lip scrub will keep your lips soft and supple while also being very tasty.

#2. Cranberry Facial Mask:

INGREDIENTS:

– 6 tablespoons of leftover cranberries

– 3 tablespoons of plain yogurt

– 1 tablespoon olive oil

– 1 tablespoon honey

DIRECTIONS: Boil the cranberries in a small pot until they become mushy then drain the excess water from the pot. Mash the cranberries together until they form a paste. Next, mix in the yogurt and the olive oil then stir in the honey. Once the recipe has cooled down, massage onto face and leave on for 10-15 minutes. Rinse off with warm water, then moisturize.

Cranberries are loaded with Vitamin A which repel free radicals, lend moisture, and prevent anti-aging.

#3. Cranberry Bath Bomb:

INGREDIENTS:

-1 cup baking soda

-½ cup Epsom salts

-1 tsp water

-2 tsp essential oil

-3 tsp olive oil

-½ handful of cranberries pureed

DIRECTIONS: Mix all dry ingredients and liquid ingredients in separate bowls. Put a small amount of your liquid mixture into your dry ingredients and mix it thoroughly. Mix until all the liquid has been absorbed by your dry ingredients. Add small amounts of the liquid mixture until you’ve used it all up. Put a more mixture than what your mold can hold on both sides and press them together until it clips. Gently tap it with a spoon to loosen your bath bomb. Let dry for 1-2 days.

These bath bombs are great for those chilly November nights where all you want to do is take a warm bath and sip on your favorite red wine.
