How to Stop Staring at the Clock

You may want to know how to stop staring at the clock at work?  We have all had those days when the minutes seem to move at a glacial speed.  We wish we were anywhere but at work.  Either we sit idle allowing our day dreams to hold us captive or we attempt to create busy work to fill up the time.  Clock watching can be a real annoyance to anyone.  However, we have to question if we are using our time productively.  There are plenty of tasks that have to be completed before the close of business.  Don’t allow procrastination to creep up and disrupt your work routine!

Here’s my advice on how to stop staring at the clock:

– Make sure you get rest the night before.

– Eat an energizing breakfast.

– Create a “to do” list for the day.

– Take breaks that help to restore your energy.

– Audit your time when working on projects.
