Stay Energized at Work in the Afternoon

Do you find it hard to stay energized at work in the afternoon?  You are not alone.  So many of us feel sluggish after the 2pm hour in the workday.  I really have no idea what causes the sluggishness but its ironic that as soon as work is over, we have all the energy in the world!  This afternoon slowdown is not good for our health or our business ventures.  We need to stay energized at work in the afternoon.  Our jobs do not end after lunch and so we are still expected to produce.  I know it’s tough, especially on Monday and Fridays.  Our minds are on the weekend that just past or the weekend that is coming.  However, we are professionals with tasks that must be complete.  Our companies count on our contribution!

Here’s how to get that afternoon energy boost:

– Eat a lunch that i filling but also energizing.

– Do some breathing exercises to get your blood flowing.

– Drink water to hydrate your body.

– Light your workspace.

– Take a few minutes to get some fresh air.

– Place energizing aromatherapy scents around your desk.

– Listen to muic that uplifts your spirit and gets you moving.
