I had to take a moment to offer big congratulations to my dear friend Serena Williams on her 7th Australian Open title, which she secured over the weekend. Not only was this win in Melbourne an incredible title to take home, the win brought her the 23rd major singles title in her arsenal – and the number one spot overall.
The world knows Serena Williams is an icon, and I wholeheartedly agree. She’s the best of the best at what she does, and, from personal experience, the best when it comes to friendship. JR and I are so proud of her. The way she carries herself is nothing but pure class. She’s a true example of leadership, dedication, and focus.
The way she paid tribute to her sister proves that truly successful women rise and help each other up. Competition doesn’t have to be a dirty word. This is a beautiful example of how to do your best and support those around you. Keep your head up ladies, and take this as your example. So beautifully done.
