I’m so proud of my girl Jennifer Lopez whose NBC reality dance competition series was just renewed for a second season! There’s no other show like it out there and I’m glad that the fans and the network are loving it as much as I do. There’s no doubt in my mind that their sophomore season will be even more incredible.
“I am so proud to not only star, but produce a show that is so close to my heart,'” Jennifer said in a release. “I am so happy that ‘World of Dance’ has resonated with audiences and we are able to put dancers on the pedestal they deserve. I cannot wait to continue this journey and my partnership with NBC.”
Another surprise from NBC is that Jennifer will be participating at the Macy’s 4th Of July Fireworks Spectacular airing Tuesday, July 4 (8-10 p.m. ET/PT). Other superstar talent you can expect to see include Sheryl Crow, Charlie Puth, Lady Antebellum and Hailee Steinfeld.
The 41st annual Macy’s 4th of July firework display over New York’s East River will feature an incredible pyrotechnic spectacle, igniting the skyline with more than 60,000 shells launched from five barges positioned in midtown Manhattan. It will be the country’s largest firework display in over a decade and promises to be a must-see show from coast to coast.
